El Artistico 

Artistico is a coming 4 year old gelding. He was shown as a yearling and was 4th National Champion in Bella Forma and 5th National Champion in the Breeder's Sweepstakes. As a 3 year old gelding, he was shown in the Pleasure division and was the High Point Pleasure 3 year old Gelding for 2011 as well as 5th National Champion Pleasure 3 year old gelding. 

Artistico has been trained on trails and is a great trail horse. He has never refused to go anywhere he has been asked. We ride up and down hills, over creeks, through the woods as well as in the show ring. He is not a spooky horse but will sidestep if he spots something that is new in a familiar area. He is a very kind and willing horse who requires someone who knows a bit about riding only because of his age. He does not act like a young horse but does not have the years of experience that an older horse would. 

Artistico is very well gaited and responsive and at the same time very well behaved with a great, willing disposition. He can be ridden with the bit or without. He responds to and moves off the leg as well as the seat, will side pass and jump downed trees on the trail. I have just started teaching him to canter and he has a very nice canter. The first time I asked for the canter he picked up both leads on the first try and had a nice, smooth canter. 

Artistico has a great personality and will make someone an outstanding gelding and life time friend. He has no vices and the only thing that he really hates is being clipped. He is no problem for the farrier or vet. He is easy to catch and will follow you like a dog and also play with you.
