Cazador del Sol y Sombra

Cazador is a sweetheart!  He stands 14.2+ hands tall.  He loves to be loved and he can move out!  He is smooth ride with a great corto and largo.  Cazador has been professionally trained (on the trail and for the show) by Cindy Griffeth.  In 2004, he was the Futurity Colt winner at Asheville; as a 3 year old gelding in 2006, he was 2nd in the Futurity Geldings class.  He received an Honorable Mention in his Open riding class at the 2006 Nationals as well as a 5th placement in the 3 year old Bella Forma Geldings class.  His class is in his style, looks, and breeding as you can see below from his pedigree.  

Cazador is a wonderful trail mount.  Smooth is an understatement.  He rides well with or without other horses.  He will ride in the front, middle or in back of the pack.  Cazador is built like a tank!  If you want a substantial horse underneath you, he is the one.  His bone structure is substantial and his muscle tone is good.  The photos on the sight are from when he was 3.  Cazador has sense matured and bulked up.  Updated photos will be available soon.     

He loves people and grooming is his favorite pastime.  He will go to sleep as long as you brush or wash him. You can go slow with him or if you prefer speed, let him go in a largo.  He can cover some ground!
As far as the vet is concerned, you need to go slow with shots.  He will stand but just go easy and steady.  He works best tied to something like an H post or something similar  Allow him to relax and he will be fine.

He is big, black and beautiful with a forelock down to the end of his nose and a mane to match. He has those very striking rabicano markings that distinguish Nevado.
