"Frutilla"

Frutilla is an elegant seal bay filly with a star.  She has several months of professional training.  She has done very well and was taken out on trails.  She has been trailered on one long haul (8 hrs) both way and was no problem at all.  She grooms easily and loves people.  She loves attention and is easy to catch in the fields.  She leads well and stands quietly while you groom her.   

Frutilla loves water and doesn't mind being bathed.  As a foal she use to love to stand and soak in the water trough in pasture. She was imprinted as a foal and has been handled on a regular basis since foaling.  She has excellent ground manners. 

To date she has done one show.  It was a fun show in NC and she did wonderfully.  She showed with all seasoned horses and placed 4 out of 8 horses in Pleasure.  She had never been ridden with other horses but was calm when they passed her or when she passed them.  She didn't react to horse trailers driving by, tractors, people clapping and running around or anything else including a flying plastic bag. 

She has the brio and quickness to go performance, but we are trying to keep her slower for now and let her develop naturally into performance.  She has a wonderful largo and can go into a fast largo and not get strung out.  She is very flexible and can do really quick tight turns.  She would be great for a prospect for horsemanship classes.

She would make an excellent youth horse or be quite happy to be someone's trail horse.  The only reason we are selling her is that our family is very tall and she is a bit shorter than what we prefer to ride.

The dam of this filly was an excellent level headed show and trail horse.  She had been shown in many classes and  almost always was in the blue.  She brought my daughter to 3rd National Champion in several classes.  The sire of this horse is a National Champion Performance.  Both mare and sire have incredible largos.   

She is current on shots, worming, Coggins, and teeth floating.
